Let us introduce ourselves!

The Community of God’s Love (CGL) is a warm, welcoming community where God’s love is present.
We are a covenanted Catholic charismatic community of families, single people, and ordained clergy who are committed to the Lord Jesus and to each other in a unique way.

Members of the CGL believe we have been called to live out our commitment to God through our relationships with each other.  We support each other on our spiritual, emotional, and physical journeys as we work together toward the establishment of God’s kingdom on earth.

The richness of our lives together emanates from shared prayer and a strong bond among members who are committed to “being there” for each other in joyful and in difficult times, as well as in the ordinary situations of our lives. In many ways, we are like extended family to each other.

We welcome all to join us at our liturgies and events.

Interested in Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual direction offers an opportunity to explore what is happening in your life and to recognize where God might be in that experience.  Learning how to be attentive or notice God's presence and action in our lives is a big part of what spiritual direction seeks to do.  This new awareness often leads the directee to make life choices based on their new awareness of what God is doing in their life.

Generally, an individual seeking direction meets with his/her director once a month for an hour.  The following spiritual directors have been trained at the Quellen Spiritual Center in Mendham, N.J. and are available for individual spiritual direction in Rutherford, N.J.  The sessions are offered freely without compensation.  If you are interested and wish to speak with a director for an appointment or further information please contact the following spiritual directors:

Charles (Chuck) Orlowicz at 201-935-6558 (H) or

    201-647-1187 (C)

Ellen Roller at 201-935-4911 (H)

Pam Orlowicz at 201-935-6558 (H) or 201-873-5098 (C)

Day or evening meetings are available.  Pam Orlowicz is also available for sessions by phone or skype.
